There definitely needs to be changes made for pensioners according to Alex Salmond, the SNP leader. He was stating this while making the point about pensioners having to choose between heating oil and food. This is something that the SNP are keen to change and plan to do what they can to achieve an increase in the winter payments for those most in need.
