Its been many years since popcorn first made its inception and it is still going strong. Popcorn has been enjoyed by our grandparents, parents, and even great grandparents. It has been said that American actually eat over sixteen billion quarts of popcorn each and every year. I wrote this article to talk about the many interesting facts of popcorn and popcorn cookers.
Firstly, we should go over popcorn before we cover the machines they are popped with. This tasty low calorie food is made using kernels of corn and is said to be a whole grain food. This food is a great snack for many people who like to snack at night but do not want to gain weight while doing so.
Popcorn machines are the tools we use to transform corn kernels into wonderful snacks that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. These machines come in many different shapes and sizes and can be found in both homes and places of business.
You can pop popcorn in small amounts using a stove top or a microwave. You’ll find that the biggest use the modern day microwave is for cooking popcorn. Interestingly enough, the commercial popcorn cooker has been around much longer than the modern day microwave. In 1885 the world’s first popcorn machine was built and is still sold today.
You’ll see large scale machines at carnivals, theaters, and even restaurants. Carnivals are just not the same without the great big cotton candy trailers and popcorn machines just around every turn.
What most people don’t realize is that popcorn poppers are not just for business use. Popcorn poppers can be bought in miniature sizes so that they can be brought into your house. You wouldn’t believe how much better non-burnt popcorn tastes compared to the burnt up microwaved popcorn you might find. When your buddies visit they could all enjoy some popcorn fresh from your new popcorn popper.
These popcorn machines are not even expensive to purchase. You can find them all over the Internet for less than a few hundred dollars a piece. These machines can even be used as business tools to bring in additional revenue selling popcorn.
It was fun and exciting writing this article for you. Thank you so much for reading.
